Our mission is to bring awareness to human trafficking and help victims and survivors with essential needs.
Salisia started working as a volunteer with several different nonprofit organizations in Chicago several years ago. When she completed her Masters of Science degree at National Louis University in Chicago, she decided she wanted to "do more".
Salisia started her online store, Salisia's Kloset, that allows her to make financial contributions to anti-human trafficking organization as well as donate clothes and other essential items to survivors as they are striving to get back on their feet.
Annual Salisia's Kloset partners with other local businesses to host the Fashion for Charity event that is held annually to brings awareness to human trafficking. This event is a fashion show that showcases creative designers and small boutique stores.
Salisia chose fashion as a form of entertainment at her events because with an undergraduate degree in Fashion Design, she knows that fashion draws a crowd. However, what is unique about the fashion shows that she host each year is that is more than just fashion. It is an opportunity for her and other passionate people from different cities to shed light on the dark subject of human trafficking.
A large portion of the proceeds from the annual fashion events are donated to anti-human trafficking organizations. If you would like to make any donations to help us in our philanthropic endeavors, please click the donate link.
We host to see you at one of our charity events in the future!
